  • Tuesday Adult Bible study for May 19th has been cancelled. As a reminder, this study does not meet during summer months (June, July, August). 
  • Mission First, Jesus Always - We invite you to prayerfully consider how God is calling you to be part of His mission at FLC. Fill out a Connection Card (available on the information table in the Narthex) and return it to the designated mailbox. While you’re there, pick up a new FLC t‑shirt as a visible reminder of our shared mission! You can also watch or revisit any of the “Mission First, Jesus Always” sermons on our YouTube channel that introduced this renewed focus. 
  • Sewing Group - An organizational meeting for this new group is today Monday, May 18th at 10am in the chapel. Join for fellowship and sewing!! Can't make the meetings? no problem! Reach out to Marsha Johnson to see how you can still be a part of this mission.
  • All Q2 Mission Funds (blue offering envelopes or gifts given to the Mission Fund on Vanco) will benefit the Belize Mission Society. Paul Dreesen will be giving a short presentation about the Belize Mission Society following worship next Sunday, May 24th.
  • The church office will be closed on Memorial Day (Monday May 25th).
  • 5th Sunday Matins Service - May 31st. To build on our tradition of having food and fellowship on 5th Sundays, we are reintroducing the service of Matins. Matins is a non-communion morning prayer service that can be traced back to the Middle Ages and contains a blend of Scripture, song, and prayer. Familiarize yourself with Matins on page 219 of the Lutheran Service Book or watch a video linked to our website.
  •  5th Sunday Lunch - May 31st! Mark your calendar for this fellowship opportunity in the lower level of FLC.
  • This Spring the Ladies Guild is collecting non-perishable food items for Under His Wings pantry. A donation box is located in the narthex.
  • Scholarships for Camp Luther! If your young person is interested in attending an event at Camp Luther this summer, please contact Suzanne Wilson about the scholarship opportunities that are available through the Ladies Guild.                      
  • Registration is Open for 2026 VBS May 31st - June 4th - Rainforest Falls! Join your child for a family style meal at 4:45-5:15pm followed by VBS at 5:30-7:45pm.
