  • All Saints’ Day will be observed next Sunday November 2nd. Join us as we remember the faithful who have gone before us into the Church Triumphant. 
  • The Belize Mission Team will be having a fundraiser at Arby’s in Bellevue this Tuesday, October 28th 4-9pm. Come support the FLC individuals who are committed to going with the Belize Mission Society. Mention ‘First Lutheran Church’ when you order!
  • Tuesday Adult Bible study will begin the book study, "The Messiah: Revealing Jesus in the Old Testament" - looking at Session 1 on Tuesday November 4. Pick up a copy of the book from Angela in the church office. Cost is $10/copy. 
  • Annual Luther Dinner - Wednesday, November 5th, 5:00-7:00 pm! Hosted by Ladies Guild with proceeds to benefit Under His Wings, Orphan Grain Train and LCMS Mission Central. 
  • FLC Youth Group will be helping with the Luther Dinner by clearing tables, running takeout orders, elevator attendants and other activities to make the dinner a success. Save the date for upcoming Youth activities including Saturday, November 22nd 3:00-5:00pm Thanksgiving Meals for SENCA and Saturday, December 13th - 3:00-5:00pm for the Youth Christmas Party!
  • Quarter 4 mission - For October through December, all monies directed to the Mission Fund will be sent to Mission Central in Mapleton, IA. You can watch Pastor Steve Schulz’s sermon from October 19th on the FLC YouTube page.
  • The Fall Voters’ Meeting is scheduled for Sunday November 9th following worship. Watch for an agenda and more info coming soon! Please submit any nominations for 2026 Mission Fund recipients to Angela at flcplattsmouth@gmail.com. 
  • Faith Lutheran Academy - FLA’s new website, with all of the latest news, prayer calendar, and information: faithacademyne.org. Please continue to keep this new startup in your prayers.
  • Ladies Guild Food Drive to benefit “Under His Wings” food pantry will be collecting breakfast cereal and “Spaghetti-Os” now through 11/9/25. A collection box will be available in the Narthex.
  • Devotional Resources - First Lutheran Church is dedicated to equipping individuals and families with the resources and tools they need to be in the Word of God on a regular basis. Check the church library or website for print and digital resources.
